Portals are the actual web-sites that you create with a physical internet address such as these examples (these are just examples they point nowhere): http://project-01.support.your-company.com http://project-02.support.your-company.com http://project-03.support.your-company.com http://project-04.support.your-company.com http://project-05.support.your-company.com You can assign any number of Categories to your portals. Categories can even be shared across multiple portals so if you wanted to setup a network of sites that all share common categories but each site has it's own access restrictions you could easily do so. As an administrator of your Portals you have the capability to have one centralized location where you can "see" all of your portals: http://all-projects.support.your-company.com There are two ways of accomplishing this: A) click "View All Categories" link under "My Categories" B) create a custom Portal and assign all of the Categories that you want to centrally "see" to it For more information see: My Categories - FAQ
